At Boise Bible College, our
philosophy is that an education which prepares students for Kingdom service
should not be available only to those who can afford it out of their own
means. Furthermore, we believe it is important to help committed students
complete their educations, not just begin one. That is why
students tend to receive more financial aid the longer they are with us, not
less.
If you choose to study at BBC,
you need to know that we award scholarships to hard-working, dedicated
students who are committed to ministry. Every semester we disperse about
$90,000 in scholarships to our student body based on their work both in and
out of the classroom. The key to earning scholarships at BBC is to follow
through on your commitment to answer God's call.
This guide is intended to give
you an overview of the process of securing financial aid through all
available sources to help pay for your education at BBC. If you have
questions, please feel free to contact the
Financial Aid Office.
In order for a student to receive BBC scholarships, the student must
enroll full-time in a 2-year or
4-year degree program. The
student must attain a minimum 2.25 semester GPA in order to renew any BBC
scholarships unless a higher GPA is stated. Regular Christian Service
reports will be filed with the student Dean. The student’s conduct on and
off campus must be above reproach. No BBC scholarship will be awarded to a
student on Academic Probation or Administrative Discipline regardless
of their cumulative or semester GPA. Scholarships can be “stacked” but up to
no more than 100% of tuition costs unless otherwise stated. Outside
scholarships or federal funds will not be calculated into this 100% maximum.
